Security / Fraud Warning

Official Statement · Last updated: 12 July 2026

ChaiNovi Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti. does not, under any circumstances, offer “home packaging” or “home soap packaging” work. Our company’s trade name, address, and tax details are being used without authorization by malicious individuals.

What is happening?

Since February 2023, unidentified individuals have been promising members of the public “home soap packaging work” through advertisements and messages on Instagram and WhatsApp, using our company’s genuine trade name, address, and tax number.

The scheme typically unfolds as follows: first a few hundred lira are requested under the guise of a “registration/deposit,” and then thousands of lira in additional payments are demanded on the pretext of “shipping/delivery.” After the payment is made, no work is provided and no money is returned. To appear trustworthy, these individuals frequently use false claims such as “e-Devlet guaranteed.”

This is a widespread type of fraud that affects not only our company but thousands of businesses and citizens across Turkey. Our company is a victim of these actions and has no connection whatsoever with these individuals.

Our official statement

  • No home packaging work is offered in the name of ChaiNovi Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti.
  • Our company never requests a deposit, shipping fee, or membership fee from you in exchange for the promise of work.
  • A criminal complaint has been filed with the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor due to the unauthorized use of our trade name.
  • Our official communication channels are solely those listed below; any accounts outside of these do not belong to our company.

What should you do if you have been a victim?

  1. Do not make any payment. A genuine employer does not ask you for money up front in order to provide work.
  2. File a criminal complaint with the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor. Your complaint helps in identifying the perpetrators.
  3. Contact your bank. The IBAN/account information to which you made the payment can be traced through your bank and the prosecutor’s office; keep your receipt.
  4. Report the fake accounts to the platform. Report the relevant Instagram/WhatsApp account on the grounds of “impersonation/fraud.”
  5. Document everything. Keep screenshots, messages, and receipts. In an emergency, call 155 Police Emergency or 156 Gendarmerie.

How can you spot fake job offers?

  • If a “deposit” or “shipping fee” is requested up front in order to provide work → it is fraud.
  • If trust is being established with phrases such as “e-Devlet guaranteed” or “government supported” → be cautious.
  • If communication takes place solely via Instagram/WhatsApp and payment is requested to a personal IBAN → it is fraud.
  • If you receive a call from a number claimed to belong to our company, verify it through the official channels below.
