ChaiNovi is a manufacturing company built around the signature and oversight of a single individual. Our company’s founder, Oğuz Kağan Dereci, is a Yüksek Kimyager (Master Chemist) responsible for both the formulation of our recipes and the supervision of the production process. This is a deliberate, foundational choice: it grounds ChaiNovi’s quality not in a personal promise alone, but in the signature of an expert.
Natural soap through a chemist’s eyes
Soap-making is, at its core, a chemical process: plant-based oils reacting with an alkali (saponification) to become soap. ChaiNovi’s founding idea arose precisely at this point, from a chemist’s desire to approach that process with laboratory discipline. Our founder embraced the practice of producing handmade solid and liquid natural soaps by processing plant-derived raw materials using the cold-process method; low heat, careful formulation and a patient maturation process form the basis of this approach.
The founding of ChaiNovi
ChaiNovi Sanayi Ticaret Ltd. Şti. was founded in September 2020 in the Çayeli district of Rize. The company was established under the KOSGEB Advanced Entrepreneur Support Programme. This meant that, from the very first day of production, the business would proceed on registered, corporate and auditable foundations.
A commitment to local industry
Our founder, Oğuz Kağan Dereci, also takes part in the decision-making processes of local industry as a Member of the Assembly of the Çayeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO). This role demonstrates that ChaiNovi is not merely a company that manufactures in Çayeli; it is an organisation that is registered within, and bound by representation to, the economic life of the district.
A chemist at the head of production
At ChaiNovi, quality is not a personal promise but a systematic discipline. Our production is carried out under GMP conditions; our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and our cosmetic good manufacturing practices to ISO 22716. The preparation of recipes and the production process are conducted under the supervision of our founder, a Yüksek Kimyager (Master Chemist); each batch matures through a curing process lasting approximately 45 days. Behind every soap we produce lies that same chemist’s rigour.
The signature behind the Chailea brand
The natural soaps produced by ChaiNovi reach consumers under the Chailea brand. Behind the information and the narrative within Chailea’s content stands that same signature: our founder, Oğuz Kağan Dereci. In this way, a single, consistent expert voice is maintained from raw material to shelf, from production to brand communication.
